Goal

To transport client in a safe and timely manner to and from pre-assigned destinations while providing door to door service.
Description

  • Meet and greet clients
  • Provide door to door transportation services
  • Maintain and odour free, safe, clean and insured vehicle
  • Provide a  friendly safe ride for clients to their destination

Qualifications

  • Must be 19 plus years of age
  • Must own a safe and reliable vehicle with at least $1m liability coverage
  • Have a cell phone for communication while transporting clients
  • Physically capable of walking clients to and from door of pick up and destination
  • G Drivers licence with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
  • Successful vulnerable sector police check
  • Satisfactory Drivers abstract
  • Proof of insurance
  • Strong knowledge of Peel region and surrounding areas
  • Follow CCS policies and procedures
  • Hours are between 6am - 6pm Weekdays (no evening or weekend currently available)

Time Commitment
This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment

Training


  • Interview by Transportation staff

  • Attend general information session

  • Meet with Transportation team

  • Attend driver training and meetings

  • Read and understand driver training manual

  • Job shadow with a lead volunteer (optional)
