Special Olympics Ontario provides a safe , healthy and active enviroment for individuals with an intellectual disability. We are looking for volunteers to provide sports training and facilitate competitions.
Description

Your role as a Sports Volunteer consists of:

  • Working with Head Coaches to develop the sports abilities of athletes
  • Assit in the organization of training - warm ups, skills, drills, etc..
  • Sports include: indoor soccer, floor hockey, basketball, swimming, golf, 10 & 5 bowling, baseball, outdoor soccer and more

Qualifications

  • Interest in working with people with an intellectual disability - knowledge helpful but not mandatory
  • Patience, reliability and a good sense of humor!

Max Age: 80   
Police Check: Required

Driver's Licence: Not required   
Proof of Vaccination: Not required

Time Commitment
This is a Long Term (More than 6 months) commitment starting 2023-01-02
Shifts are available on the following days
 - Monday Evening, Tuesday Evening, Wednesday Evening, Thursday Evening, Friday Evening
