Goal

AHG is a not-for-profit organization committed to fostering the growth and development of aspiring hockey players throughout their youth. Our focus extends beyond the rink, aiming to instill valuable life skills and character-building attributes in our players. With age ranges from 10 to 20 years old, many of our athletes continue their hockey journey in various leagues, universities, or even professional arenas


Description

  1. Setup and Logistics: Assist with the setup and arrangement of equipment, merchandise, and promotional materials before and during games. Ensure that all necessary resources are readily available for coaches, players, and spectators.

  2. Game Day Operations: Support Front Gate, Concession and Fundraising staff with admission, 50/50 ticket and mechandise sales.  Cover for others as break relief.  As a penalty box attendant, you will sit in the penalty box and open and close the gate as the players enter and leave.

  3. Post-Game Cleanup: Assist in clearing the area after the games, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and the facility is clean and tidy.

Only responsible adults (18 or over) will be asked to handle money.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities during fast-paced game days.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with players, coaches, parents, and spectators effectively.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to AHG's game day schedule.

Time Commitment
This is a Medium Term (4 - 6 months) commitment starting 2023-08-28 AND ending 2024-03-24
Shifts are available on the following days
 - Thursday Evening, Friday Evening, Sunday Afternoon

Training

Orientation will be provided to successful applicants at the arena before your first shift.
