Join us as a Clothing Sorting Volunteer and help turn donated clothing into treasures for our customers. Perfect for those who love thrifting and organizing.

Responsibilities:

  • Sort and Organize: Sort clothing by type, size, and style.
  • Quality Control: Check for damage and set items aside for repair.
  • Keep It Neat: Maintain an organized workspace.
  • Teamwork: Work with other volunteers and staff.

Qualifications

  • Love for thrifting and our mission.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods.  Sititng may be available if requested. 
  • Reliable and punctual.

Time Commitment
This is a Any Duration commitment starting 2024-02-24 AND ending 2024-06-30
Shifts are available on the following days
 - Saturday Afternoon

12-4pm


Training

Volunteers, please note that:


  • All Mission Thrift Store forms must be signed, along with parental consent if you are under 18 years of age.

  • Completion of mandatory online trainings, as required by the government of Ontario, is essential.

  • You will receive 2 hours credit toward your volunteer hours for training completion.
